What is the Alliance?
The HMI Partner Alliance (Alliance) is a coalition of non-profit organizations, government agencies, and advocacy groups working with USDA and Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK).
Mission: Improve child health by enhancing the nutritional quality of school meal programs nationwide.
Goals:
- Encourage and empower School Food Authorities (SFAs) to apply for HMI Recognition Awards by June 30, 2025.
- Support SFAs with resources and strategies for sustainable healthy eating practices.
- Provide professional development and networking opportunities, including recognition at National Healthy Meals Summits.
