Cafeteria Chronicles: Lamoille North Modified Unified School District (Hyde Park, VT)

For the school nutrition team at Lamoille North Modified Unified School District in Hyde Park, VT, new kitchen equipment and staff training from Healthy Meals Incentives (HMI) grant funding paved the way to a healthier school lunch. Student taste testing and cooking demonstrations helped engage students in the new recipes developed, which are lower in sodium and full of flavor. To top it off, the district saw participation rates jump by 25 percent at lunch!
